Dr Khaldoon Alsaee

Dr. Khaldoon (Khal) AlSaee is a Psychiatrist & Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. 

 

His special interests include Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders & Chronic Pain.

Dr Aman Ahuja

Director, Pain Specialist and Anaesthetist

MBBS, MD, FCARCSI, FFPM, FANZCA

Dr. Ahuja is a dual specialist in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia. His expertise covers most types of acute and chronic pain conditions like spinal pain, cancer pain and neuropathic pain.

 

He is also experienced in advanced pain interventional techniques like nerve and joint blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation and other advanced neuro-modulation techniques.

 

He has particular expertise in managing lumbar back pain and sciatica, neck, shoulder and arm pain, facial pains/headaches and other unexplained pain conditions.

Dr Baljinder Randhawa

MBBS(JCU), DCH

Dr Baj Randhawa is our local James Cook University graduate.

 

He worked in Townsville Hospital before developing a special interest in occupational medicine; travel medicine; and sports medicine.

 

His goal is to provide high standard primary health care with a modern outlook

Shannon Chown

Physiotherapist


Shannon graduated with a bachelor degree of physiotherapy from James Cook University. He has worked with patients right across the lifespan within the hospital, musculoskeletal outpatient and aged care settings and has been the NQ Vikings masters Indoor cricket physio for the past few years. He brings with him a passion for health and activity and is eager to assist and guide his patients to take control of their pain. When Shannon is not enjoying time with his family, he is busy completing his Physiotherapy Masters degree.

Julia Sullivan

Psychologist

 

During her 15 years of experience she has developed a special interest in providing therapeutic interventions to clients, and family members whose lives have been impacted by substance abuse

Sharon Isle

Clinical Psychologist


Sharon completed her undergraduate study at Curtin University in WA and had a number of clinical roles in WA and QLD before heading North and graduating from James Cook University with a Master of Clinical Psychology. She has worked in a range of clinical positions across hospital and community settings, with patients including victims of crime, defence force personnel, and people with chronic illnesses. Whilst working in this latter area, Sharon’s interest in pain and its management really developed. She is passionate about working with people to assist them to have satisfying and meaningful lives despite their pain.

Brittany Atzeni

Occupational Therapist

 

Brittany graduated from James Cook University, Townsville with a bachelor degree in occupational therapy.

 

She has clinical experience in the fields of rehabilitation; mental health; and acute hospital settings.

 

During her career Brittany has developed a special interest in the area of upper limb rehabilitation.

Johnathan Entriken

Physiotherapist

 

Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University.

During and prior to his time working as a physiotherapist, Jonathan has developed an interest in and skills in the areas of pain management, paediatrics and sporting injuries and rehabilitation. Jonathan enjoys working with people across all ages to inform and assist them in getting the best physical and functional outcomes available to them.

 

Jonathan enjoys learning and operating in, the multidisciplinary clinic that Livewell Pain Management Centre offers. He believes that the ability for him to offer physiotherapy input in his focus areas, as well having a variety of highly trained professionals under the same roof, enables him to offer the most effective care possible to the people he sees. In his spare time you will find Jon on the golf course!

Craig Sullivan

Occupational Therapist / Director

 

Craig graduated with an honours degree in occupational therapy from James Cook University. He has been working in the area of chronic pain management within acute and subacute sectors, and is a great asset to the LiveWell team. Craig is also a published researcher in the area neurological rehabilitation, with his research being published in the international Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine.  

 

Craig is also a qualified lymphoedema therapist who is currently registered with the Australasian Lymphoedema Association.

Rowena Sanderson

Accredited Exercise Scientist

Rowena has extensive experience in private practice and occupational health, working in sub acute and chronic sections of injury, disability and chronic disease.

Chloe Spotswood

Accredited Exercise Scientist, Accredited Exercise Physiologist

 

Chloe has a special interest and skill set for management of chronic disease through hydrotherapy and Pilates exercise interventions.
