LiveWell Chronic Pain Management Program
LiveWell Pain Management Centre is a private pain clinic for patients experiencing chronic
and persistent pain. The LiveWell program is designed to assist patients gain a greater understanding of their condition and learn techniques to manage their pain and decrease its impact on daily living.
The Chronic Pain Management Program includes:
5 x Physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy sessions (as allocated on EPC)
10 x Psychology sessions
When used in conjunction with an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program and Better Access to
Mental Health Care Plan the Chronic Pain Management Program will cost just $190 out of pocket
for the above 15 sessions* (information regarding payment plans is available upon request).
*A new and unused EPC and Mental Health Care Plan must be provided for this fee schedule to be applicable.
The initial appointment will take 45 to 60 minutes and will be completed with both a physiotherapist and psychologist who will work together towards the patient’s goals. Subsequent appointments will be completed individually with each practitioner. These practitioners will liaise with each other, the treating GP/ specialist and the patient during the treatment program to ensure the best possible outcomes.
